Today's school library whether it be called an instructional media center, a resource center or a learning center - is a source and force for educational excellence.

St. Bridget College & SHS Library functions as an integral part of the total educational program. It strives to provide the types of instructional media essential for the support of the curricular programs, providing opportunities for each student to read ideas critically, while being guided in an environment conducive to maximal learning.

Library users and staff require access to a wide range of equipment relating both to the storage and retrieval of books and periodicals, and to audiovisual and high-technology provision.
